SEMI-AUTOMATIC Operation on Injection Molding Machine

SEMI-AUTOMATIC operation carries out one cycle operation automatically from mold closing to product ejection.
(The following descriptions are given on condition that resin has been supplied and barrel heating up has been completed before starting operation.)
Use the operation controller to operate the machine by following the procedure below.
[1] Press [SEMI-AUTO] of the OPERATION selector button.
[2] Confirm whether there is no residual substance in the mold.
[3] Press the [CYCLE] push button.
The machine starts one cycle operation automatically.
NOTES: Machines with 1200mm <47.2in> or larger distance between tie rods require safety
gate open/close movement before pushing [CYCLE] push button.
Or confirm whether there is no residual substance in the mold.
NOTES:
1) If there is no pushing [CYCLE] push button after the completion of one cycle operation and after TR4 time-out, warning buzzer sounds within a few seconds.
2) To continue the SEMI-AUTOMATIC Operation, repeat [3] and [4] procedure.
3) The machine can’t start SEMI-AUTOMATIC operation if the Ejector is not on the retract position. Press [RETRACT] of the EJECT button in MANUAL mode until the LED lights, then start SEMI-AUTOMATIC operation.
4) In the case of using the ejector [HOLD] circuit, procedures of the first cycle in SEMI-AUTOMATIC mode are shown as following.
